Thank You for Your Help and Participation!

Last year, we asked for your participation in saving our license from being weakened. With your help, we were able to protect our license. We will continue to help fight to protect our license in North Carolina. We wanted to share the numbers from each campaign with you and send a thank you out to all of those that took the time to contribute.

1st Campaign (against HB 911) started July 4, 2021
- in ~30 days, we sent a total of 4440 emails to 15 different legislators - 296 emails per legislator

2nd Campaign (against SB-105) started on August 10, 2014
- in only 4 days, we sent 1276 emails to 11 different legislators - 116 emails per legislator

The NCOA is dedicated to educating and protecting North Carolina Opticians. Since 1950 the NCOA has been working to support the optical industry and the professionals that work in North Carolina dispensaries each day. We are working hard to create a website that will allow you to access information as well as register for continuing education classes, become an NCOA member, and easily locate other information relevant to licensed opticians in North Carolina.
