Paige Shoven, MEd, ABOC

Paige Shoven MEd, BBA, ABOC, Manager Training and Education, EssilorLuxiottica began journey in optical in 1995 and has held many roles throughout the optical industry in private practice, retail, and wholesale environments.

Her first teaching roles were as a math tutor. Later she was a substitute teacher. Many of her students commented on her gift of turning complex topics into simple to understand pieces and asked, “why didn’t my teacher didn’t just say that?” While in college, she took a part time job in optical that changed her trajectory from being a middle school math teacher to becoming an optician. Today she gets to combine both of her passions (teaching and eyeballs) into a role she loves! The history of optics and the why behind what we do are her favorite topics and welcomes conversations about both.

She and her husband Rick, along with their two daughters, live in Lewisville, TX. Her favorite pastimes include cooking and watching crime show documentaries and Hallmark movies.
